At Artigamy, we take great pride in the quality of every poster, miniature, and décor piece we create. If something isn't right with your order, we want to make it right. This policy explains your options clearly and fairly.

Please read this policy before initiating a return or refund request. By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Our Return Philosophy

Every Artigamy piece is crafted with care — and we stand behind the quality of what we sell. We believe in a fair, transparent returns process that respects both you as a customer and the artisanal nature of our products.

Because many of our items are made-to-order or printed in small batches, we ask that you review your order details carefully before completing a purchase. That said, if something genuinely goes wrong, we are committed to resolving it promptly and fairly.

Our Promise If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we will replace it or refund you — no questions asked. We stand fully behind the quality of our products.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your request must meet the following conditions:

  • The return request is raised within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number).
  • The item is not listed under our Non-Returnable Items (see Section 3).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene and quality reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalised items — products made to your specific design, name, or dimensions.
  • Digital downloads — printable files or digital art files once accessed or downloaded.
  • Sale or clearance items — items purchased at a discounted price during a final sale event.
  • Gift cards — Artigamy gift vouchers are non-refundable.
  • Items with signs of use — any product that has been displayed, framed, assembled, or used in any way.
  • Items returned after 7 days — requests raised beyond the return window will not be accepted.
Note on Custom Orders If you ordered a custom piece and it arrives with a production defect or printing error on our part, we will absolutely replace or refund it. Customisation does not exempt us from our quality guarantee.

Damaged or Defective Items

We take extra care in packaging our products. However, if your item arrives damaged due to transit or has a manufacturing defect, here's what to do:

Step 1 — Document the Issue

Take clear photographs of the damaged item, the packaging, and the shipping label as soon as you receive it. Do not discard the original packaging.

Step 2 — Contact Us Within 48 Hours

Email us at support@artigamy.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and your photographs.

Step 3 — We'll Resolve It

We will review your case and respond within 2–3 business days. Depending on the situation, we will either dispatch a free replacement or process a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Important Damage claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted, as it becomes difficult to distinguish transit damage from post-delivery handling. Please inspect your order promptly upon arrival.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@artigamy.com with the subject line "Return Request — Order #[Your Order Number]".
  2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  3. For damaged or defective items, attach clear photographs of the item and packaging.
  4. Our team will respond within 2–3 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
  5. Once approved, securely repackage the item and ship it back using the provided instructions.

Please do not send items back without prior authorisation — unauthorised returns may not be processed.

Return Shipping

If We Made an Error

If the return is due to a damaged item, a defective product, or an incorrect item sent by us, we will cover the full cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label or reimburse the return postage upon request.

Change of Mind Returns

If you are returning an item because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong size/variant, the return shipping cost is your responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Packaging Tip Please repack items as securely as they were delivered — use bubble wrap or padding for posters and fragile miniatures. Items damaged during return transit due to inadequate packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed as follows:

Original payment method (credit/debit card) 5–10 business days after approval
UPI / Net Banking 3–7 business days after approval
Store credit (Artigamy wallet) Within 24–48 hours of approval
PayPal / Razorpay 5–7 business days after approval

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. If you paid via store credit or gift card, the amount will be restored to your account. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges for the same item in a different size or variant (where applicable), subject to availability. To request an exchange:

  • Follow the same process as a return (Section 5) and specify that you'd like an exchange.
  • The item being exchanged must meet all return eligibility criteria.
  • If the replacement item is out of stock, we will offer a refund or store credit instead.

We do not currently offer like-for-like swaps between different products. If you'd like a different item entirely, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order.

Order Cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly to ensure timely dispatch. Cancellation is possible only under the following conditions:

Before Dispatch

If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may cancel it within 12 hours of placing the order by emailing us immediately at support@artigamy.com. A full refund will be issued upon successful cancellation.

After Dispatch

Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return once the item is delivered, in accordance with our return policy.

Custom Orders

Custom or personalised orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. If you need to cancel a custom order, please contact us within 2 hours of purchase.

Act Fast Our fulfilment team moves quickly. If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible with your order number. The sooner you reach out, the better the chance of a successful cancellation.

Digital & Downloadable Products

Digital downloads — including printable art files, digital posters, and design templates — are non-refundable once the file has been accessed, downloaded, or sent to your email.

This is because digital products cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. However, if you experience a technical issue with a file (e.g., corrupted download, incorrect file delivered), we will send you a replacement file at no charge.

International Orders

For customers outside India, the following additional conditions apply:

  • Return Shipping Costs: International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and customs fees, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • Customs & Import Duties: We are not responsible for any customs charges, import taxes, or delays imposed by the destination country's authorities.
  • Longer Timelines: International returns may take additional time due to customs clearance. Please allow up to 4–6 weeks for the full return and refund process.
  • Currency: Refunds are processed in INR (Indian Rupees). Your bank or payment provider will handle the conversion, and exchange rate fluctuations may result in a slightly different amount in your local currency.
